Join us for Banner of Love

You are invited to support the Pomeroy Center’s annual gala, Banner of Love: Pomeroy in Wonderland, on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 5:30pm at the Fort Mason Gateway Pavilion.

This event raises vital funds for the Pomeroy Center’s recreational, vocational, and educational programs for children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities.

Attend the gala, join us in celebration and a chance to win:

Pomeroy Date Night, held on Thursday, February 13th, was a delightful celebration of romance and fun! Guests enjoyed an afternoon of mixing and mingling, while the Glam Squad worked their magic with makeup, hair, and stylish outfit transformations. Couples were paired up for a truly special experience, savoring delicious dishes like ricotta dip with garlic bread, chicken Alfredo pasta, and indulgent tiramisu cheesecake. The event featured a non-alcoholic open bar, along with a selection of coffee and tea, all set to the vibe of a live DJ playing romantic tunes. It was a memorable evening filled with love, laughter, and style!

Staff Spotlight

Lutchie Tuazon

Lutchie was born and raised in the Philippines and is the daughter of Lucy from the Senior Department. She is the middle child in a family of seven. In January 2023, she moved to the United States and joined the Pomeroy Center in April of the same year. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Philippines.

Lutchie loves being part of the Pomeroy Center because she strongly connects with its mission, vision, staff, and clients. To her, the Center feels like home—a place filled with warmth and support. A passionate singer and dancer, you might catch her singing in the hallways or even in the bathroom! She also leads the beloved One Center Karaoke Class, creating a space where everyone can have fun, express themselves freely, and enjoy singing and dancing. Her ultimate goal is to spread joy and help people embrace their true selves.

Guiding Vision: Organizing enriching trips and outings, hosting impactful fundraising events, and actively advocating while engaging with our community to foster greater unity and cohesion.
