Our Thoughts are with Los Angeles
As wildfires continue to impact Los Angeles and surrounding areas, our hearts go out to everyone affected. We are inspired by the bravery of first responders and volunteers working tirelessly to protect lives and homes.

Staff Spotlight
Leda Pennell
Leda received her ballet training from the San Diego School of Ballet at the age of 3. She performed and toured with the San Diego Ballet Company as a junior company member. Leda also attended summer intensives with American Ballet Theatre and trained with NYC Ballet ballerina, Jillana. Leda moved to San Francisco in 2007 to study Psychology at San Francisco State University while dancing professionally with a number of dance companies in the Bay Area - DanceWright Project, Labayen Dance, Dance Theatre of SF, Copious Dance Theatre, and Company C.
Leda admits that it’s hard to imagine herself not being a dancer after dedicating so many years to her craft, but if she weren’t dancing, she envisions herself as a cook in an Italian restaurant.
The Performing Arts Collective started as a way to encourage our talented staff to share and inspire Pomeroy participants through music and dance. The Performing Arts Collective is bringing together staff to brainstorm ideas for how we can make the performing arts at Pomeroy better than ever! Be on the lookout for a Performing Arts Spring concert and album!
Leda has performed in several different Nutcracker Productions throughout her dance career and thought it would be a great production to bring to Pomeroy. It's a great holiday tradition that has evolved and continues to evolve each year.
